Mangrove Magic

The Mangrove Magic program is an exciting, interactive educational initiative that brings the wonders of mangrove ecosystems to life for youth in the community. Led by experienced marine educator Logan Kanan, the program teaches participants about the critical role mangroves play in protecting coastal areas, supporting biodiversity, and mitigating the effects of climate change. Through immersive lessons and hands-on experiences, students learn about the importance of mangrove conservation and how they can help preserve these vital habitats. Activities include local field trips to explore mangrove forests and ecosystems. The Mangrove Magic program aims to inspire participants to become ambassadors for environmental protection, instilling a lasting connection with nature and a passion for conservation.
